NUM Operating Theatre [Australia]


 

An opportunity exists for a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to join our innovative and committed team in the Operating Theatre Services

This is an opportunity for you to step up to a senior acute services management role. You will directly report to the Director of Nursing and you will be well supported by a highly skilled and supportive leadership team.

Operating Theatre Services is a dedicated and multidisciplinary team who works collaboratively to ensure high quality customer outcomes.

Our operating theatres facilitate elective surgery five days a week with on-call services available for emergencies and trauma 365 days a year. The operating suite consists of two operating theatres, a Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD), Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Preadmission Clinic and Direct Admission.

You will bring:

  • AHPRA registration
  • At least 2 years post graduate experience
  • Strong clinical leadership
  • Dedication to professional development
  • Advanced communication and customer service skills

Please note you must have the right to work in Australia and be able to provide evidence of this.
