Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists is seeking a full-time Internist ,to join our rapidly growing team!
About Lakeshore:
Lakeshore was founded by a like-minded group of veterinary professionals looking to provide better medical care and client c ommunication in their communities. We are an independently owned, multi-specialty emergency and referral center. Today, we are proud to offer our patients three state of the art facilities in the greater Milwaukee area, and the most advanced diagnostic equipment in Wisconsin. Our team of over 30 doctors includes numerous emergency clinicians with years of dedicated experience. Board-certified specialties include surgery, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, emergency & critical care, dermatology, and dentistry. A certified physical rehabilitation veterinarian and several VTS-certified technicians round out our team. In the summer of 2018, we are excited to offer cardiology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology and expanded dermatology services.
Our Practice:
Offerings at Lakeshore include in-house laboratory, DR, ultrasound, endoscopy, on-site blood products and well equipped surgery suites. There is also access to CT, MRI, mechanical ventilation, and radiati on therapy/SRS at our nearby Glendale location. We manage our own blood bank, offer grief support counseling, and also conduct a nationally respected residency and internship training program. We also host regular CE events for our referring community, and support active in-hospital education.
While our facilities are equipped with high-tech equipment, what separates Lakeshore from other referral hospitals is our team’s cross departmental cooperation in treating each patient that walks through our doors. We are a team of specialists and place tremendous value on inter-department collaboration to help our patients.
