Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/13/2014Availab! le Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine to cover as soon as credentialed for 6 months with the option to extend 6 additional months. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. No Call. See approximately 10 patients per day. Outpatient coverage. Must have Basic Life Support Certification. Provide history, physical examination, diagnosis, and initiation of medical treatment. Initiate and facilitate treatment and transfer in emergency situations. Follow-up office visits for existing medical problems with appropriate diagnostic tests and medication adjustments. Work cooperatively with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses and a variety of allied healthcare professionals. Site uses computerized medical records system.
