MEDICAL DIRECTOR
SCENIC WISCONSIN RIVER TOWN
The new Medical Director will have a unique! opportunity to practice in a new leading-edge hospital and clinic which is scheduled to be completed in early 2015. Become a leader in a hospital that has earned the Patient Satisfaction Award for two consecutive years.
The ideal Family Physician or Internist will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills, successful management, strategic planning, public relations and performance improvement skills.
Responsibilities will include:
Spend a portion of each day maintaining a panel of patients at the clinic.
- Assist the hospital in recruiting, interviewing and hiring high quality physicians and advanced providers.
- Maintain and improve communications between provider clinic and other hospital departments.
- Initiate new program development.
- Participate in providers liaison activities.
- Maintain CME, ACLS and credentialing standards required for all physician! s and ancillary providers.
Recreational opportunities abound in the area, especially boating, rafting and fishing on the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. LaCrosse, WI, Dubuque, IA and Madison, WI are all just a short drive away. All of which have commercial air service.
