Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/19/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Locum Tenen Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to provide coverage as soon as possible for 6 months with the option to extend. *Any State License *. May on occasion be asked to help with coverage at the VAMC, Tomah, WI. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. No Call. Outpatient Primary Care. Provide history, physical examinations, diagnosis, and initiation of medical treatment. Order medications, laboratory tests and procedures/studies as required for treatment or diagnosis. Work cooperatively with other physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants, Nurses and a variety of other Health care providers. Act as a consultant in a clinical practice. Site uses computerized medical records system. 10-15 patients per day. Must have BLS.
