All candidates must be BC/BE trained in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with subspecialty training in Geriatrics! . The ideal candidate will have special interest in conditions specific to aging, including geriatric assessments and rehabilitation, preventive medicine, management of patients in long-term care settings as well as psycho-social, ethical, legal and economic issues pertinent to the geriatric population. Situations requiring special concern could include falls, incontinence, cerebrovascular disease, dementia, sensory impairment and other cognitive and affective changes that occur as part of the aging process. They are offering a competitive salary, plus a sign on bonus of $20k. The contract is for 2-years then you would go on productivity. Benefits include 4 week’s vacation, 2 weeks CME with $4000 and Cerner EH. Also included is a 403-B retirement and Relocation. The Department offers an integrated approach to the diagnosis and treatment of simple and chronic illnesses as well as an understanding of wellness through the promotion of health and disease prevention. A Hospita! list service is available for those who prefer to practice in ! an outpatient setting. This opportunity is located just north of Milwaukee and offers primary care physicians access to several specialists and subspecialists all in one convenient location.The group is located on the shores of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is the 19th largest city in the United States.
