Gundersen Lutheran Health System is seeking a Speech Pathologist with PhD level preparation, and ASHA certification. Board Certification from the Academy of Neurologic Communication Disorders and Sciences is desired. Applicants should have interest and experience in adult communicative and swallowing disorders due to or associated with neurologic and laryngeal disease, craniofacial defects, respiratory disease, gastropathology and psychopathology. Applicants should have proven skills in working collaboratively with physicians and surgeons, and specialists including neurologists, otolaryngologists, gastroenterologists, internists, physiatrists, pulmonologists and allergists.
The ideal applicant will also have an interest in clinical research, teaching, program development, and have potential for future department leadership.
Approximately 40% Inpatient, and 60% Outpatient practice.
